Stroll down Clematis Street and let the eclectic array of style, historic buildings dressed with local art, and captivating food scene inspire you to stay a little while. We’ve highlighted several local businesses that cultivate the rich Downtown culture that exists here today and we want to share them with you.
1. Subculture Coffee

2. The Blind Monk

Local Favorite: Aperol Spritz, Cheese Plate & Sour Cream Pancakes
Just two blocks south of Clematis, you’ll find The Blind Monk nestled in the lower floor of The Whitney Building. The passionate team curates a list of organic and biodynamic wines, ethically sourced cheeses, and locally grown produce to create pairings unlike anywhere else. Enjoy an old film on the big screen or simply relax in the low lit ambiance. Make sure you stop in for brunch on the weekend to try a glass of rose & the sour cream pancakes. Dogs are always welcome guests on the outside patio.
3. Mediterranean Market & Deli

Just steps from The Palm Beach Courthouse, you’ll find the charming Mediterranean Market & Deli. Serving the most delicious Mediterranean fare for over 46 years, Eddy & Tony have brought Lebanese culture and warm hospitality to the heart of Downtown West Palm Beach. Shop house made hummus, olives & other imported treats while you wait for your order. Make a new friend at the picnic table outside if you’re lucky enough to score a seat!
4. Aioli

Local Favorite: Lavender Lemonade, Fresh Baked Bread
Chef Michael Hackman, a fixture on the Palm Beach culinary scene for almost 16 years, decided to claim his own territory and opened Aioli in West Palm Beach in Fall 2014. His fresh baked bread and culinary creations can now be enjoyed Downtown as well, just two blocks south of Clematis. Check out the daily specials posted on their website each morning. Hit them up before they’re sold out!
5. Field of Greens

Local Favorite: Taco Tuesday & The BFO Cookie
When the “where are we going to lunch?”question arises, F.O.G is always on the tip of the tongue. The decor and hospitality at Field of Greens is bright & warm, making it one of the city’s favorite places to enjoy a good meal that is healthy and affordable. 6. Flower & Fringe

Shop owner & designer Halle Frey has created a bright, inviting space on the bottom floor of one of West Palm’s most historic Downtown buildings. Flower & Fringe is filled with whimsical blooms and a variety of house plants & thoughtful gifts. Wander through the shop and let the herbaceous scent of fresh flowers and essential oils inspire you. Halle & her team create custom bouquets, style chic events, and design funky floral installations. Don’t leave without meeting Daisy, her furry friend & shop helper.
7. Ileengirl Boutique

ILEENgirl is a Downtown boutique offering well-designed, minimalist clothing & accessories. The neutral palette allows for pieces to be mixed & matched. Boutique owner and fashion designer Ashley has been in the fashion industry for years and has two locations in South Florida. Stop in for a head-to-toe ensemble, or pick out a new statement piece to complete your current look!
8. Simplicity In Mind

Simplicity In Mind has influenced the style & retail scene in the Downtown area ever since it opened in the Fall of 2016. Shop owner & buyer, Rachel Calvelli has carefully curated the shop with ethical fashion brands, denim & unique gifts. The overall feel of the shop is effortless, timeless, & feminine. Stop in and see for yourself.
9. Scotch Bonnet Hair Studio

Scotch Bonnet Hair Studio has elevated the hair culture here in West Palm Beach. Master stylist & studio owner Tracy Vasquez takes time to understand her clients style and personality before she begins the process. She’s passionate about educating her team as well as clients on styling & caring for their locks. The studio is chic, minimal, and nothing short of inspiring.
10. Jimmy Changas

A South Florida Downtown area isn’t complete without a burrito spot. Walk North on Olive Ave. and you’ll find Jimmy Changas. Their menu ranges from a refreshing ceviche bowl to a deep fried Chimichanga stuffed with grilled carnitas, fresh veggies & creamy guacamole. Place your order, grab a margarita and indulge yourself in this relaxed spin on authentic Mexican fare.
11. Voltaire

Clematis Street is lined with a variety of late night spots to eat and drink. We suggest you don’t settle. Make your way west to the 500 block and you’ll find Voltaire, a stylish and intimate venue located just above Lost Weekend. Try a new cocktail & emerge yourself into the local music scene. 12. Restoration Hardware Rooftop Restaurant

The Downtown West Palm Beach Restoration Hardware is more than an exquisite show room. Make your way up the grand staircase to The RH Rooftop Restaurant resting beneath a soaring glass atrium. Experience hospitality at its finest. Relax and savor a glass of rose and order a delicious dish from their ingredient inspired menu. The Barista Bar features espresso drinks, wines by the glass and fresh pastries. Find a spot on the terrace or plan to stay a while in the elegantly designed wine vault. 13. The Waterfront
Walk to the eastern most end of Clematis Street and discover green grass and a wide view of the Intracoastal. Pack a picnic, take a bike ride, or enjoy a walk along the vibrant waterfront. The Waterfront is home to our Green Market, a stage for local musicians, and a laid back meeting place for family and friends.
